If you're looking for that
"perfect finishing touch" to complete your
full-custom, tricked-out large v-twin, or perhaps just
starting to shake out those generic "just-off-the-showroom-floor" blues—nothing
compares to refining your engine cylinders and heads
with Diamond Heads.
Click
on images below to see the full beauty of Diamond
Heads!

You've probably seen Diamond
Heads at national bike shows, bike mag photo layouts
and V-twin calendars. Now you can get that same
incredible look
on your personal ride a lot easier and more quickly
than you might have thought possible.
Some other shops may offer
diamond cut heads with
"hand-cut" diamond cutting. This would probably
be fine
if you are seeking thousands of random, imprecise hand-made
cuts carved into your expensive big V-twin engine fins.
Look carefully and you
will find that only genuine Diamond
Heads has made the investments necessary to offer you precision
computer-controlled CNC cutting, which ensures
complete accuracy, precise
geometry, and unparalleled
consistency of cut — to provide maximum reflectivity
and sparkle from your heads and cylinders. And
that's what it's all about! So
unique is this process that it's patented under U.S. Patent
# 6626134.
Quick turn around* time
and you can even have
it done without removing the valves
from the heads. That means less down-time
and less wrenching on your ride... With
proper planning, you can have your sparkling Diamond
heads and cylinders on your bike in just ten days!
Why wait?
The Diamond Head cutting
process also looks great on stock aluminum wheels, derby
plates, and timing cover plates! Call for more
info.
Note: If you are having any type of motor work done such as valves,
boring of cylinders, painting, or powder coating, we recommend that such work be completed
prior to shipment to Diamond Heads for the diamond
cut process.
How to order:
- Determine when you
will be shipping your components.
- Email us at Diamondheads@ironhorsetrading.com or
phone us at 414.975.6288, with the following
information: name, contact info, shipping address,
make/model/year of bike, and any special instructions.
(shopping
cart system coming soon)
- We will email or fax
you your order confirmation to include with your
shipment.
- Prepare your heads/cylinders
for shipping by removing excess gasket material,
wiping external surfaces with cleaning solvents,
ensuring that oil is removed from and internal cavities,
and wrapping each component in plastic wrap or plastic
bags to prevent residual oil from leaking weakening
shipping containers.
- Package your items
carefully to ensure that items will not be damaged
in transit. Ideally, package each component is a
separate box and then into a single larger box,
or make certain that each component is separated
from other components by HEAVY cardboard or similar
packaging material. Make certain that each
item is protected by at least two inches of packaging
material and the sides of the shipping container/box.
The same shipping containers will be used
to return your components, so use materials that
will hold up to the rigors of a round trip. This
step is very important to avoid freight damage to
your engine components.
- Select freight carrier
and shipment method of choice. USPS, UPS and
FedEx are all viable shipping options. Properly
insure all items being shipped.
- Notify us of shipment
and any tracking number, if applicable.
- Then start visualizing
how sweet your ride is going to look with your new
Diamond Heads installed!
