The photos below shows a Road Star with the OEM Silverado saddlebags (top), which cost more than a similarly equipped set of Boss Bags. Look how much space there is below the stock bags. The Boss Bags on the other hand, fit perfectly. The Road Star brackets have two mounting positions to accommodate the factory exhaust pipes, as well as lower after-market pipes as shown.
